What are the high pressure applications for mechanical seal systems? The seal main seal withstands the characteristics of the system's high pressure:


By analyzing the hydraulic system, the main seal is subjected to system pressure and should have the following characteristics:


(1) Withstanding high pressure, the material of the seal should have high mechanical strength.


(2) Low friction and wear, the material of the seal should have a low coefficient of friction and a high wear resistance of the mechanical seal. The design of the seal ensures that its mechanical seal works under better lubrication conditions.


(3) The oil return capability is strong to ensure that the oil film brought out can be brought back into the system during the return journey to achieve dynamic balance and prevent the formation of back pressure.


(4) Relief pressure function, that is, the function of the check valve in the seal, when the system pressure is low or when the pressure is reduced to zero, the formed back pressure can drop immediately to prevent the phenomenon of trapped oil. As the second seal, the secondary seal is to withstand low or no pressure. Its main function is to block the oil film passing through the main seal and achieve zero leakage. The secondary seal should have the following characteristics:


(1) Low pressure sealing performance.


(2) Low friction and wear at low pressure.


(3) It can withstand the high pressure of the system for a short period of time, that is, it can work reliably when the back pressure is formed under severe working conditions.
