What Is The Difference Between Kalrez Rubber And Viton Rubber?
Mar 26, 2018

What is the difference between kalrez rubber and viton rubber?

Kalres is a brand of fluoroether-modified perfluoro-ether rubber from DuPont, and its long-term temperature resistance can be 250C-320C. Viton is DuPont's general brand of binary and ternary fluorine rubber. Long-term use temperature is 200C.

Fluoroelastomer (FKM) was first produced by DuPont in 1956 under the trademark VITON. Because DuPont is known to be too high, in many words, VITON is FKM, there is no difference, so to speak, even in some drawings VITON , but it does not necessarily specify VITON for DuPont. This means that the material is FKM.
